Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day : 1

    Receive from Kochi Railway Station/Airport

    You will be welcomed at Kochi Railway Station/International Airport by our representative and transferred to a hotel. In the afternoon, you can go for a sightseeing tour in Cochin. The things and places to see here are the 500 year old Portuguese mansions, the St. Francis Church (oldest Church in India), 16th century Synagogue, Chinese fishing nets, Mattancherry Palace constructed by the Portuguese, and Jew Town. The Matancherry Palace houses some of the most attractive wall paintings of India. In the evening, you can go for shopping. You will stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day : 2

    Kochi to Munnar

    In the morning, you will be driven to Munnar, which is a distance of four hours or 125 km. On the way, you will see the Cheyappara Waterfalls. You will also enjoy the tea gardens extending for more than 11o km. Munnar is a pollution-free place and the serene ambience coupled with lush green hills will surely leave you spellbound. You will check in at a hotel and stay there overnight.

    Sightseeing in Munnar

    In the morning, you will go for a sightseeing trip in Munnar. Places you will see include Eco-Point, Mattupetty, Pothamedu, Tea Museum and so on. You will have the option to go for a boat ride. You will stay overnight in the hotel.

  • Day : 4

    Munnar to Thekkady

    Early in the morning, you will be driven to Thekkady which is a drive for three and a half hours or a distance of 115 km. You will be taken through the Cardamom hills. you will have lunch and be taken for a trip to the spice plantations such as pepper, cardamom, tea, and coffee estate. While returning to the hotel, you can halt at the local market and purchase some aromatic spices. You will check in at a hotel and stay there overnight.

  • Day : 5

    Houseboat (Alleppey Backwater)

    In the morning after eating breakfast you will visit Alleppey, also called as the Venice of the East. After arriving here, you will check into an old-fashioned Kerala houseboat and sail through the backwaters. It is a wonderful manner to discover the captivating charm of the backwaters. You will stay overnight in the houseboat.

  • Day : 6

    Alleppey to Kovalam

    In the morning, after eating breakfast, you will get down from the houseboat and be taken to Kovalam in Trivandrum. After you reach there, you will check in to a hotel. In the evening, you will have free time to unwind at the sea beach. You will stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day : 7

    Kovalam/Trivandrum sightseeing

    In the morning, after you have your breakfast, you will be taken for a sightseeing tour of Trivandrum. The city is the capital of the state of Kerala. The places of interest that you will see are the Puthan Maliga Palace Museum, the Sri Padmanabha Swami Temple, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, and Napier Museum (features an outstanding exhibition of zoo, bronzes, ivory sculptures, temple carts and so on). In the evening, you will unwind at the resort and stay overnight at the hotel.

  • Day : 8

    Departure

    In the morning, after eating your breakfast, you will be transferred to Trivandrum Airport/Railway station for departure.
