After reaching Chennai Railway Station/Airport, our representative will welcome you and take you to the hotel. In the afternoon, you will go for a sightseeing tour of the capital city of Tamil Nadu. You will see Fort St. George, Kapaleeshwar Temple, Marina Beach, and Government Museum. You will return to the hotel and stay there overnight.
After eating your breakfast in the morning, you will go for a trip to Tanjore, Tanjore served as the capital of the Chola Kings who built beautiful temples. On the way, you will see Pondicherry (Ganesh Mandir, Sri Aurobindo Ashram) and Mahabalipuram (Arjun Shilanyas, Pallava’s Panch Rathas). After you reach Tanjore, you will check into a hotel. In the evening, you will see the well-known Brihadeshwara Shiva Temple, which was constructed by the Chola rulers. You will find the huge Nandi sculpted on one stone, the second biggest in the country. You will stay overnight at Tanjore.
Once you eat your breakfast, you will be taken to Trichy, which is a 1.5 hour journey covering a distance of 55 km. You will see the biggest Lord Vishnu Temple located at Srirangam, on a sprawling island of 600 acres in the middle of the rivers Kolladam and Kaveri. Afterwards, you will leave for Rameswaram, which is a 5 hour journey covering a distance of 226 km. After you reach Rameswaram, (the entrance to Sri Lanka), you will check into a hotel. You will stay for the night at Rameswaram.
After your breakfast in the morning, you will see the Ramanathaswamy Temple. You will also see the Pamban Bridge and bathe in the 22 sacred wells. You will also visit Kanyakumari, which is a 7.5 hour journey, covering a distance of 395 km. This is essentially the southernmost tip of India and is a meeting point of the Bay of Bengal, the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean. Countless visitors come here to see the sunrise and sunset. You will also visit the Vivekananda Rock. You will get back to your hotel and stay overnight at Kanyakumari.
In the morning, you will enjoy the sunrise at Kanyakumari. Once you eat your breakfast, you will be taken to Suchindram and see the Thanumalayam Temple. This temple is exceptional because it is devoted to Lords Shiva, Vishnu, and Brahma. After finishing your lunch, you will go to Madurai, which is a 4-hour journey covering a distance of 172 Km. After you reach there, you will check into the hotel. In the evening, you will see the famous Meenakshi Temple. You will stay overnight at Madurai.
In the morning, you will check out from the hotel and go towards Chennai, an 8-hour journey covering 460 Km for your homebound trip.
On the last day of your trip, you will be dropped at the Chennai Railway Station/Airport for your return journey.
