The coordinates of Rajasthan (Jaipur) are 26.57° North latitude and 73.83° East longitude. The entire western boundary of Rajasthan is edged by the territory of Pakistan. Rajasthan is bounded by Madhya Pradesh in the southeast, Gujarat in the southwest, Punjab in the north, and Haryana and Uttar Pradesh in the northeast as well.
By Air: Udaipur Airport, Jaipur International Airport, and Jodhpur Airport are the three major airports in the state. These airports join Rajasthan with all the important Indian metros like Mumbai and Delhi. Jaisalmer and Kota also have airports, however commercial/passenger operations have not started yet. By Rail: Railways join Rajasthan with all the principal Indian cities. The main railway stations of the state are Kota, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner, Jodhpur and Udaipur. Three Rajdhani Expresses serve the sole electrified segment of Kota city and there are train services across all important cities. The Thar Express is an international train service which runs from Karachi to Jodhpur. Nonetheless, this is not available for international tourists at the present time.
