Jammu & Kashmir is the northernmost state in India. The whole territory of Jammu and Kashmir can be divided into three regions and they are Jammu, Ladakh, and Kashmir valley. The state of Jammu & Kashmir is situated between 32° 44′ North latitude and 74° 54′ East longitude. Jammu & Kashmir shares its domestic boundaries with Punjab and Himachal Pradesh towards the south and international boundaries with the People’s Republic of China to the north and east and at the same time, Pakistan edges it to the west and northwest.
