How to Reach Andhra Pradesh

The city of Hyderabad is served by Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, also named as Hyderabad International Airport. It is the biggest airport in Andhra and also one of the busiest in India. There is one more international airport in Vizag and that is Vishakhapatnam Airport., the second biggest in the state.

By Rail:

Andhra Pradesh depends on railways since they are an important transportation medium for the state. Railways join all key towns and cities in the state. The head office of South Central Railways is based in Secunderabad. You can also use the East Coast Railway for visiting Vizag, Vizianagaram, and Srikakulam. One of the busiest Indian railway junctions is Vijayawada, and it is also the second biggest and busiest Asian railhead.

By Road:

State highways constitute a significant portion of the roadways transportation network of the state. District roads and national highways are also there. APSRTC, the Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation is the principal public transportation agency which is held by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The agency plays a key role in joining all the cities and small towns in AP. The Nehru Bus Stand (Vijayawada) and Mahatma Gandhi Bus Stand (Hyderabad) rank among the biggest bus terminuses in the continent.
